Brown Bats And Barred Owls

from Water by Mark Brennan

/

about

We are in a remote location at night, there is a gentle wind coming through the old spruce that surrounds the stream, high up a Barred Owl calls to its mate off in the distance. If we listen carefully bats can be heard fluttering past us along with the rustle of leaves and the call of nearby crickets in the meadow. Listen way up and you can hear the fall migrating birds passing over head, a rich soundscape indeed.
